By accessing our website or placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should discontinue use of our website and services.
Ponto Technologies (Pty) Ltd is a South African technology company providing a range of technology products and services including, but not limited to: IT hardware, Networking equipment, CCTV and security products, Smart devices, Accessories, Digital products, Remote technical support, Professional IT services, and Technology consulting.
We make every reasonable effort to ensure product descriptions, specifications, pricing and availability are accurate. However, we reserve the right to correct Pricing errors, Product descriptions, Images, Technical specifications, and Stock availability without prior notice. Images are for illustration purposes and products may differ slightly from those shown.
All prices displayed on our website are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR). Prices may change without prior notice. Where an obvious pricing error has occurred, we reserve the right to cancel the order and refund any payment received.
Submitting an order does not automatically constitute acceptance. Orders become binding only once payment has been successfully verified, stock is confirmed (where applicable), and fraud prevention checks have been completed where necessary. Ponto Technologies reserves the right to refuse or cancel orders where fraud, abuse or pricing errors are suspected.
Payments may be made using approved payment providers or Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). For EFT payments: Orders will only be processed once cleared funds are reflected in our nominated business bank account. Proof of payment alone does not constitute payment confirmation. We do not store customers' payment card details.
Physical products remain subject to stock availability. Delivery times are estimates only and may vary depending on courier operations, supplier availability, destination, public holidays, and circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Risk in physical goods transfers to the customer upon confirmed delivery.
Digital products are delivered electronically after successful payment verification. Customers are responsible for ensuring that the supplied email address is correct, their device meets the minimum system requirements, and they follow supplied activation instructions. Digital products are licensed for lawful personal or business use in accordance with the applicable licence terms.
Professional services including remote support, consulting and installations are provided in accordance with the agreed scope of work. Additional work requested outside the agreed scope may attract additional charges. Completion times are estimates and may vary depending on project complexity.
Customers agree to provide accurate information, maintain the confidentiality of their accounts where applicable, comply with applicable laws, use products responsibly, and follow manufacturer instructions. Customers are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups before requesting technical support.
Returns and refunds are governed by our published Refund Policy and applicable South African legislation. Certain digital products may not qualify for refunds once successfully delivered, except where required by law or where a verified fault exists.
Manufacturer warranties apply where provided. Ponto Technologies will reasonably assist customers with warranty claims but cannot extend warranties beyond those offered by manufacturers unless expressly stated.
All website content including logos, graphics, product descriptions, software, documentation, trademarks, branding, text, and images remain the intellectual property of Ponto Technologies or their respective owners. No content may be copied, reproduced or redistributed without written permission unless permitted by law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ponto Technologies shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages arising from delays, service interruptions, product misuse, third-party failures, internet outages, software incompatibilities, or customer negligence. Nothing contained in these Terms excludes any rights that cannot legally be excluded under South African law.
Certain products or services may be supplied by third-party manufacturers, distributors, software vendors or logistics providers. Ponto Technologies is not responsible for the independent policies or actions of third-party service providers, except where required by applicable law.
We aim to keep our website available at all times. However, temporary interruptions may occur due to maintenance, software updates, infrastructure failures, cyber security incidents, or events beyond our reasonable control. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
Your personal information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable South African privacy legislation. By using our website, you consent to the processing of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the appropriate South African courts.
Ponto Technologies reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Updated versions will be published on this website together with the effective revision date. Continued use of our website after publication of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.
